The Castelli family founded ET medical devices, formally Elettronica Trentina SpA, in Cavereno (Trento, Italy) in 1977.
The company manufactures electro-medical equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and distributes under the well-known brands “Cardioline” and “Cardiette”.
The Fund’s goal was to support the company in its customer base growth plan and its geographical expansion.

SWS Group

Headquartered in Trento, Italy, SWS Group, controls SWS Engineering SpA & Enginsoft Spa. SWS Engineering Spa operates in the engineering services for major works. Enginsoft Spa operates in the CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) sector, which is scientific Information technology, focusing on design and productive processes optimization.
MC2 invested in SWS Group with the aim of supporting both companies’ development plans.
The company was eventually sold to Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige.

HS Penta

Based in Faenza, HS Penta is a hydraulic cylinders producer for industrial and agricultural vehicles. It offers one of the most complete production range on market.
The company sales were directed for near 70% towards foreign markets.
The fund’s joining of the company (with the co-investment by BCC Private Equity 1) supported Penta’s development and investment plan and the implementation of defined corporate governance rules.
The Fund, together with the majority of shareholders, sold 100% of his stake to the listed Italian Group Interpump, leader in hydraulic cylinders production.

CBS

CBS, based in Varmo – Udine, manufactures copper, aluminium, iron and stainless steel components (collectors and bended pipes) for the air conditioning, refrigeration and heating industry.
The high technological production level was reached thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and robot controlled production lines.
The investment’s main goal was to support the company’s growth through the acquisition of a competitor (with the co-investment of BCC Private Equity 1).

Special Flanges is a steel forger based in Cesano Maderno, near Milano. SF produces a wide range of large-sized forged components, mainly for the Oil&Gas Industry. The highly integrated model business of the company includes steel forging and the mechanical finishing of the untreated components.
The Special Flanges offers a wide product range that includes carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel components.
The Fund joined the company through a leveraged buy-out transaction.
It sold its stake in a buy-back transaction after successfully supporting the optimization of its value.

Euromisure

Euromisure produces flow and temperature measurement systems mainly for Oil&Gas Industry. The company exports near 70% of its production.
The Fund co-investment (through the Funds BBCC Private Equity 1 e Dominato Leonense) was finalized to support the management in a buy-out operation.
Each partner sold 100% of their joint stock to Wika’s Group, a german worldwide leader in pressure and temperature measurement.
Euromisure benefited from the broad portfolio and expertise of one of the most important companies on the market.

PAMA

Established in 1926 in Rovereto, Pama designs, manufactures and distributes high sizing and horizontal spindle boring / milling machines for mechanical components of medium-large size in his facilities in Italy and China. Pama exports more than 80% of its production mainly to China, India, Russia, Germany and United States through a wide distribution and sales assistance network.
The Fund supported Pama in its international expansion project, allowing the company to inaugurate the new factory in Shanghai and to launch several new products, thus increasing its presence on the world market.

Aeromeccanica Stranich

The products are used in Petrochemical, Energy and Steel sectors. Almost all of the products are exported all over the world.
The Fund’s financial participation was aimed to support the company in its internationalization process increasing its ability to satisfy clients’ needs on emerging markets.
